Building a Trusted Brand
Following the father’s passing, the next generation of the family stepped forward to lead alongside their mother. To elevate the business, they expanded the product lineup to include roasted rice and, in 1994, officially launched the “Aree” brand.
Aree revolutionized the market by introducing sealed packaging and professional branding, replacing the traditional industry standard of selling spices in simple plastic bags. The name “Aree” was chosen to honor the mother —a restaurant owner’s daughter with a passion for cooking—and reflects the Thai word for “generosity” (เอื้ออารี). This name symbolizes the family’s heart-led dedication to food safety, cleanliness, and superior quality standards.
Visionary Growth: From Ingredients to an Integrated Business Model
Having grown up in the heart of the bustling market, the family observed shifting consumer needs and evolving industry trends. They transformed the business into a fully integrated supply chain, opening a storefront to offer high-quality raw materials—such as fresh garlic, shallots, and dried chillies—alongside their signature
processed products. This expansion was built on supporting Thai farmers and local communities. By purchasing crops of all sizes (small, medium, and large), we ensure that farmers have a reliable source of income for their entire harvest, significantly reducing agricultural waste. This “upstream-to-downstream” approach helped Aree become the go-to wholesale brand for fried garlic and fried shallots.

Innovation in Convenience: Peeled Garlic & B2B Expansion
In 2000, we introduced “Peeled Garlic,” providing a ready-to-use solution that addressed a significant gap in the food industry. By saving food factories immense time and labor, this strategic move became a key driver for our B2B expansion.
To meet the rigorous demands of international industrial partners, we have continuously upgraded our facilities. Today, we operate dedicated, state-of-the-art factories in Samut Sakhon and Nakhon Ratchasima, strategically located near our raw material sources. Our commitment to excellence is proven by our comprehensive international certifications, including GHPs, HACCP, US-FDA, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and HALAL.
Empowering Farmers: Growth Through Shared Knowledge
True to the family’s teaching of “We Must Share,” the executives work closely with farmers. They transfer technical “know-how” and quality standards—such as GAP (Good Agricultural Practices)—learned from their industrial partners back to the growers. Beyond technical support, we are committed to ethical labor practices and community empowerment. We prioritize sourcing from Thai farmers to support local communities, while carefully selecting additional high-quality raw materials from trusted global sources to meet our rigorous standards and production demands. This ensures that our suppliers and workers grow sustainably alongside us, creating a supply chain free from exploitation and rooted in mutual respect.
